Substituting Serum for Sunscreen

Our skin is being bombarded by non native electromagnetic radiation, synthetic light and extra UV due to deterioration of the ozone, all of which are leading to generation of excessive free radicals.

Application of combination: Vitamin C Vitamin E and Ferulic Acid results in excellent photo protection (sun protection) against ultraviolet induced skin aging and thymine dimer formation (DNA mutations).

The addition of Ferulic acid to these antioxidants increases stability doubling photo-protective benefits 4x to 8x.

"This combination of pure natural low molecular weight antioxidants provides meaningful synergistic protection against oxidative stress in skin and should be useful for protection against photoaging and skin cancer.

Sunscreen completely blocks Ultraviolet B radiation preventing vitamin D synthesis.

Considering the importance of maintaining adequate vitamin D levels many medical professionals and scientist find it to be an unattractive option.

Instead of applying harsh chemicals which were recently observed to enter the blood stream quickly and in high amounts, looking into more natural options may be an option.
