Firestorm PRO — Compact Five-COB Panel, Meanwell Drivers
630nm · 670nm · 830nm
The Firestorm PRO is the most concentrated panel we make, with the power electronics taken as far as we can take them: five 200W COB modules — 1,060W — packed into a panel roughly 1.5 feet square, paired with Meanwell industrial-grade drivers. Most of our devices carry one COB; the Firestorm carries five, shoulder to shoulder — and the PRO runs them on the same driver standard used in medical equipment.
Five lab-measured modules — in our tightest arrangement
Each of the five COB (Chip-on-Board) modules is our 200W chip — 64 diodes bonded to a single substrate, no housings, no gaps, no scatter — the same module Light Labs International, an independent lab, measured at 138.39 mW/cm² at 6 inches and 67.22 mW/cm² at 12 inches. The Firestorm PRO clusters five of them tighter than any panel in our lineup, tighter even than the Inferno — so their output overlaps, and the combined irradiance runs higher than our full-body systems deliver. Five measured emitters, 320 diodes, one dense field of light.
What the Meanwell drivers change
Flicker drops to 0%, with no detectable magnetic field and stable output built for frequent sessions — Meanwell industrial-grade drivers, the same power supplies used in medical equipment, also deliver consistent power over time, which extends LED lifespan in a panel you'll run for years. No AC-powered device — anything that plugs into a wall outlet — can fully eliminate an electric field, but at this panel's session distance it drops below detectable levels.
So powerful, we move you back — and that's where it covers everything
Every other panel we make carries a 12-inch minimum. The Firestorm PRO's is 24 inches — not despite its power, because of it. And 24 inches is where this panel earns its name: by that distance the five overlapping beams have spread wide enough that most people get full-body coverage sitting in an ordinary chair — and cross-legged in meditation pose, your entire body sits inside the beam, edge to edge, from a panel just 1.5 feet square. That's not a diagram claim: you'll see exactly this setup in the gallery above, whole body inside the beam. All of it while receiving strong, effective irradiance, well outside the panel's electromagnetic fields. Maximum output, full-body spread, undetectable fields, at the same distance. That's not a compromise; it's the design.
The wavelengths
Cytochrome c oxidase, the mitochondrial enzyme at the center of photobiomodulation research, has absorption peaks near 630nm, 670nm, and 830nm — so those are the Firestorm PRO's three, the same as our Firewave and Firefly. 630nm works in the dermis (fibroblast activity, collagen production), 670nm reaches slightly deeper, and 830nm near-infrared penetrates centimeters into muscle, joint, and connective tissue. 830nm is invisible to the eye — wear the included blackout goggles every session.

How to use it
Start with 5 minutes and build to 20 minutes per session. Position no closer than 24 inches — this panel's combined output is the highest in our lineup, and 24 inches is where it's designed to be used. For full-body sessions, sit facing the panel — an ordinary chair works for most people; meditation pose puts your whole body inside the beam. Up to 5 sessions per week.
Choosing between formats? The Firestorm PRO is maximum density in a compact panel; our Inferno PRO is the full-body system — taller panel, coverage head to pelvis in one position.
